Meet featured guest J M. H. SCHWANKE

J has lived his entire life in the floral industry, born at a floral convention in Nebraska in 1960 and raised in his 4th generation family business: Greens Greenhouses, Inc., which he owned and operated for over 15 years.

Excitement and inspired interest in All aspects of the floral industry led J to his current career in design consultation and education. He is a floral industry expert; creative consultant and product development specialist based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His consulting firm JMHS Enterprises, Inc. consults, promotes and plans strategic marketing for many floral industry manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailer shop owners in the United States.

J is a member of the American Academy of Floriculture(aaf), the American Institute of Floral Designers(AIFD), and the Professional Floral Commentators International (PFCI). J presently serves on the National Membership Committee for AIFD. J is also a member of the color marketing group.

J is a design Team member for the Cowee Pick Company and Design Master Color Tool Inc.; a Design Director and Ambassador for Oasis Floral Products and Creative Product Development Specialist for the John Henry Company. J also consults and designs for many prominent floral and interior design businesses in the United States, and has been the featured designer and commentator frequently throughout America, Canada and in Europe. J was the first American designer featured at Flowers at Kennsington Palace, a benefit for breast cancer research. His extensive expertise and background in the floral industry make him one of our industry's most sought after floral inspirational, motivational and education specialists.
